"Regulations for the Childcare Register require the childminder or home childcarer to have an appropriate first aid qualification.

Registered providers of childcare on domestic or non-domestic premises must ensure that at least one person caring for children has an appropriate first aid qualification. First aid provision must be available at all times that children are cared for either on the childcare premises or off the premises on visits and outings. The registered provider is responsible for ensuring these requirements are met."

This two day course is for professionals looking after young children and who might have to deal with an emergency situation. It is suitable for reguistered childminders and others who work with yound children and infants.

The course meets Ofsted requirements for child minders, nursery's, etc, and is the appropriate course if you work with children under eight years of age.
